#concert #indie #live #rock

Archy Ivan Marshall (born on 24th Aug 1994 in London), also known as King Krule, is an English singer, rapper, author, producer and musician. He is a favourite artist of many celebrities, including Frank Ocean and Beyonce, who are fascinated by his dark jazz tones. King Krule is coming to Roxy club in Prague on 14th February. Tickets are available from Friday 24th November on GoOut.cz, Ticketpro and Ticketportal for 690 Kc + fees, on the door for 790 Kc.

Archy Ivan Marshall started to make music in 2010 calling himself Zoo Kid. As King Krule he has released several EP’s and his debut album 6 Feet Beneath the Moon in 2013. His second album The OOZ came out in October 2017.

His music marries punk, jazz and hip-hop, dark-wave and trip-hop.

The first album got him famous mainly in the US, bringing him to The Late Show with David Letterman and Conan show.

In August 2017, King Krule released a tune called Czech One and in September another single Dum Surfer. The album Ooz included both singles and 17 other songs. It reached 17th place in top 100 in Official Chart Ranking and received 8.7 points out of 10 in 56 results.

His music is sometimes compared to Morissey and Edwyn Collins. According to King Krule, he is most influenced by Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent, Fela Kuti, J Dilla, Billy Brag and The Penguin Cafe Orchestra. In an interview for The Guardian he said that in his beginnings he was influenced by The Pixies and The Libertines.
