Close your eyes, open your ears and listen! One of the greatest musical storytellers and member of Kompakt label Kölsch will soon narrate his story that is now becoming famous around world. A melodic autobiography on black wax, the Kölsch project has seen 40-year-old Rune take stock of a diverse and successful production career and draw upon his own personal beginnings: a nostalgia for childhood, family, friends and the confusion of applying his split-cultural heritage to what it means to think of ‘home’. Moreover, his latest album 1989 narrates you through his teenage story full of grey colours and parents' divorce. Hopefully, these times are over, Kölsch and his story will find its home on 24th May at ROXY with an eclectic All Night set presenting his own label IPSO.
