The uncrowned rulers of Californian new school hardcore Lionheart are back! Although the Californians are sometimes compared to Hatebreed for their hard metal sound, their hardcore-metal sounds different. You can definitely trace their work back to punk, but it's mainly the crushing beatdown that comes into play.
Lionheart is a road without turns, a road possessing crushing power flowing out from the inner aggression. Lionheart is simply a steamroller that can go through the "valley of death".

Suicide Silence's steep ascent was nearly halted by the death of frontman Mitch Lucker. But after the Californian outfit reunited with Eddie Hermida (ex-All Shall Perish), the band has successfully rebuilt on their meteoric rise and this time not strictly sticking to the beaten paths. These deathcore pioneers have moved towards more melodic nu-metal, but for the short time only. After this time of searching what to do they turned back to their uncompromising extremes what they proof with the last new fucking heavy deathcore songs.
