Filipino-Canadian singer and songwriter MICO, one of the distinctive voices of today’s alt-pop-rock scene, will come to Prague’s ROXY on 25 January 2027. The 23-year-old artist has built a global audience through emotionally charged songwriting, infectious melodies and an energetic sound blending pop-punk, alt-pop and hyperpop. In Prague, he will present his latest material as part of the IN:BETWEEN TOUR.

MICO started out performing covers in online communities and gradually built a devoted
fanbase through a series of independently released songs. His breakthrough came with the EP Internet hometown hero, followed by more than 100 million global streams, a Canadian radio hit with “cut my hair”, a JUNO nomination for “HOMESICK” and sold-out shows across North America, Europe and Asia.

In June 2026, MICO released his debut album When the lights turn on via Columbia Records. Drawing on the nostalgia of 2000s and 2010s pop-punk while pushing into modern alt-pop and hyperpop, the album explores heartbreak, growing up, life on the road and the strange feeling of returning home to find that everything has changed. This theme also continues in his latest single, “Everything’s the Same”.

The IN:BETWEEN TOUR brings together the music and moments that have defined MICO’sjourney so far. It is a celebration of everything that has come before and whatever lies ahead, capturing MICO at a moment of transition as he enters the next chapter of his career.
