With 2023 coming to a close, it's time to take a closer look at the names we'll be bringing to ROXY in the first part of the coming year. Once again, we'll be looking to create a varied lineup for you, where every popular electronic genre has its place. These are the cool House names we're looking forward to and you shouldn't miss!
FRIDAY 26/1 ➔ CLIMAX PRESENTS: MOGUAI (DE) + DJ CHRIS SADLER ➔ INFO & TICKETS
The first one to dance the floor as the headliner of the Climax event in January will be German DJ and producer MOGUAI. While he helped shape the local scene as a techno DJ in the 90s, as time has gone on he has become most comfortable with a wide range of house patterns.
His mixes are not uniform. They contain diverse energy, tried and true dance classics as well as new shades of modern sound. His own radio show, PUNX Up The Volume, has a whopping 500 episodes, which just goes to show how current he is still trying to be.
Take a listen to his set from this year's Nature One festival, for example, where he proves exactly how varied his selection is and what doesn't get boring. And how much the audience enjoys it!
SATURDAY 3/2 ➔ SONNY FODERA (AU) ➔ INFO & TICKETS
Sonny Fodera's name is certainly not unknown to the Czech audience. He appeared at the Roxy in 2019 and now he is back as a mainstream favourite. In that time, he has managed to release another album Wide Awake and top the Beatport charts with his remixes and his own material. And this summer you could hear him with his own residency at the famous Amnesia club in Ibiza. That's a cool card, don't you think?
Sonny is known for his pop-vocal tracks and signature feel-good melodies that entertain a wide audience. This summer he delighted fans with a new single called Asking, on which he collaborated with legend MK, which reached number 7 in the UK Singles Chart and found a place in the mixes of DJs around the world.
SATURDAY 16/2 ➔ DOSEM (ES) ➔ INFO & TICKETS
For all the fans of the modern Deep-House genre we have one big treat! If you like what the London label Anjunadeep is releasing, the name Dosem will make you very happy. And if you don't know this producer from Girona, Spain?
Then be sure to check out his brilliant set on Printworks. In his mix you'll hear mostly his own productions with remixes in melodically sophisticated tracks. An experience from start to finish. Dosem is simply a magician!
SATURDAY 2/3 ➔ TINLICKER LIVE (NL) ➔ INFO & TICKET
And who, for example, did our previous Dosem tip work with? It's the Dutch duo Tinlicker. We will see their live performance in Roxy, because Prague will be one of the stops of their European tour. Passionate drums, ingenious synths and hypnotic vocals are the pillars of their atmospheric collages and electronic adventures, which is what their upcoming album Cold Enough For Snow will be all about.
So, for example, if you've never heard of the name Tinlicker before, get sucked into their live performance in London earlier this year in the video below. And if you're still thinking about it, don't wait, as tickets are going fast with the current 70% sell out.
