Good news for experimental electronic music lovers – Nicolas Jaar is coming for his first headline show in Prague. A Chilean-American musician will perform at Roxy on August 23rd this year. Tickets for 650 czk are on sale now via fource.cz, GoOut.cz and Ticketpro network.
His debut album Space Is Only Noise was released when Jaar was just 21. Combination of psychedelia and dance music vaulted him into the vanguard of the world’s electronic artists. In an interview with Guardian Jaar said that he would never sign for a major label and started his own called Other People later on. The label also features a number of recordings by Jaar's close friends including Dave Harrington, his partner in the duo Darkside.
Jaar has been creating music for about a decade but last year's Sirens is only his second LP. Like its predecessor, the record received acclaim from both critics and fans.
