Hailing from Southend-on-Sea in Essex, England, Nothing But Thieves make passionate guitar-based rock that balances indie artfulness with a pop sensibility. They have been called one of the most exciting rock acts of the last decade and gained the young band respect from pillars of the modern rock community – among them Muse, who took them out as support band on their 2016 arena tour.

They have been also compared to them thanks to charismatic lead singer Conor Mason. The latest record Moral Panic was released last year, written before current events, the album is strangely relatable to life right now: “It is, in a lot of ways, a political album, but it was our intention to not make it directly so. The album hinges on what effect the pressures of the modern world and the information age have on us. It’s about people,” the band said.
