Prague has plenty of scenes. Techno, UKG, bass, DnB. People who love similar energy, but mostly exist next to each other without really connecting. Jungle sits somewhere in between. Spread across scenes, but rarely given its own space. This is an attempt to bring those bubbles together and see what happens when they finally meet.
We Need Jungle, I’m Afraid is not about nostalgia or trends. It’s about selection. About a sound that takes your attention on its own. With Sully (UK) – Uncertain Hour / Astrophonica coming to Prague for the first time, there’s finally a real reason to come together. If you think this scene doesn’t exist here, maybe it just hasn’t met yet. On May 23rd at Roxy, we’re going to find out.
