ROXY, in collaboration with Gallery NoD, is preparing a brand new site-specific installation of artworks, ROXY Visuals vol.18, which continues a more than ten-year tradition of presenting contemporary Czech art in the setting of the legendary music club.

The current edition of artworks, subtitled Contemporary Art at Night for specific locations, was prepared by five prominent Czech artists (Petr Dub, Marie Lukáčová, Jan Hladil, Jan Slanina, and Jiří Černický), who have been fixtures on the Czech and international art scene for many years. The curatorial concept for the installation and collection of artworks was prepared by Pavel Kubesa, curator of NoD gallery.cz

The newly conceived concept attempts to redefine the relationship between contemporary art and the specific atmosphere of a nightclub. The individual artistic interventions present a wide variety of aesthetic and formal positions that viewers may encounter in contemporary art. The aim of the exhibition concept ROXY Visuals – Contemporary Art at Night is to open contemporary art and its themes to new contexts, situations, and new audiences, and to present it through site-specific installations created specifically for the given space.

The opening of the current edition of ROXY Visuals vol.18 will take place at the ROXY club in ROOM 8 on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 9:00 p.m.
